Multi-HR Day for Kratina as Warhawks Overpower Indians, 16-6
|
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Neal Kratina, the Seminole Warhawks defeated the Jefferson Indians, 16-6. Kratina hit 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times for the Warhawks. Jeremy Wagner got the win, improving to 3-7. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 6 runs, while striking out 9 and walking 8. Seminole, at 29-25, sits in second place in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division.
Randy Schrader was one of the major contributors to the win for Seminole. The light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to left in the top of the second inning. For the day, he was 4-7 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"Feels good to get the job done," Schrader said after the game.
