Hops Score Late to Upend Rhinos, 5-3
|
Fans who gathered at The Brew Stade saw a good contest between the San Diego Hops and Rubber City Rhinos.
The San Diego Hops picked up a win at The Brew Stade, knocking off the Rubber City Rhinos, 5-3. Starting pitcher Robinson Pedercini was an essential part of his team's success. The win moves San Diego to a record of 4-4.
San Diego took control in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Nadir Rizvi hit a 2-run double to make it 5-3, Hops.
"It's a mindset," said Pedercini. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
