Hanson Excels, Francis Lewis Blows Out Downsview
The Francis Lewis Patriots met little resistance from the Downsview Mustangs, beating them 15-3 at Visigoths Stadium. Bill Hanson led the way. He went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for Francis Lewis. Francis Lewis goes to 31-20. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.

Yasutomo Fujii contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that propelled Francis Lewis to the win.

"This is a very good team," said Fujii. "We have the chance to do something special."
