Theriot Helps Patriots Beat Mustangs
The Francis Lewis Patriots defeated the Downsview Mustangs, 18-7, at Visigoths Stadium. Francis Lewis third baseman Jimmy Theriot was named player of the game for his superb performance. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5. Madison Foley got the win, improving to 3-3. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 9 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The first-place Patriots have won 9 straight games.

Theriot had a consequential at-bat in the top of the third for the Patriots. Coming up with the bases loaded and Francis Lewis trailing 2-1, he hit a grand slam.
