The Pitman High Panthers racked up a win at Batfish Ballpark, bumping off the College Park, 5-4. Rich Bisch, who started for Pitman High, pitched effectively for his team. Danny Ventimiglia recorded the save for Pitman High, his 13th of the season. The Panthers own a robust 31-18 mark.
Parking one for Pitman High was Seth Day. The right fielder had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth for the Panthers. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Day was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Bisch told reporters after the game.
