Patriots Reel Off Another Win
|
The winning streak continued for Francis Lewis at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS.
In a tight contest at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS, the Francis Lewis Patriots edged the Canby Lancers by the score of 4-3. Francis Lewis shortstop Ross Centner, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Tommy Burhoe was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.
In a game filled with surprises, perhaps none was as big as Centner's contribution. The Francis Lewis shortstop is a relative newcomer. With one out in the top of the seventh, when the Patriots had a runner on 1st, Centner delivered a crucial 2-run home run.
"The clubhouse vibe is great," said Francis Lewis manager Justin Easton.
