Chargers Win in Glorious Fashion
The Topeka West Chargers wiggled past the Lerna Lions, 10-9, at Breakers Ballpark. Topeka West center fielder Justin Field earned player of the game honors. The win puts the Chargers at 28-19, while the Lions drop to 22-25.

Topeka West won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Dusty Bynum on the mound for Lerna, catcher Gil Mitchell hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Chargers fans to their feet.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Jack Fannon, the Topeka West skipper. "This one tested us."
