Mills Excels, But Patriots Win
The Francis Lewis Patriots and Seminole Warhawks obliged those fans who came to Ottawa HS Grounds looking for a good time.

Seminole first baseman Ben Mills pounded Francis Lewis Patriots pitchers at Ottawa HS Grounds, but it was not enough to keep the Warhawks from falling, 9-8. Mills went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The winner was Francis Lewis reliever Curt Dixon, now 4-0. The loser was Chris Kelly.

With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out in the bottom of the third inning, third baseman Jimmy Theriot delivered big for the Patriots. Francis Lewis was trailing 4-1 when he belted a 3-run home run.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Theriot said. "We did a good job of that today."
