Harkness Hits 2 home runs in Tigers Win
The Tenafly Tigers cruised to a 15-1 win over the Central Tech Blues at Ballpark of León HS today. Zach Harkness led the way, going 4-for-6 for Tenafly. The save went to Francisco Herrera, his 1st this season. Tenafly's record now stands at 21-24, placing them 4th in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division.

When the Tigers needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Harkness who delivered. Facing Central Tech pitcher Victor Sgattoni the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded, Harkness hit his 6th home run of the year. It made the score 12-1.

Central Tech manager Yassin Flament called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
