The Cabo San Lucas Toreros inaugurated their 2032 season with a tough 7-6 loss to the Maple Marauders at Field de Los Layendas. Starting Pitcher Paul Barrett was named player of the game for Maple. Justin Rogers earned the save for Maple, his 1st of the year.

The most important at-bat for Maple came in the top of the ninth inning, when first baseman Kojuro Ine stroked a 0-1 slider to right for a 2-run single, putting Maple up, 6-4.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Jesús Alfaro, the Maple manager.
