The bullpen ace was named as the #1 pitcher in the Pacific League and will receive the 2028 Cy Young Award. He compiled a 1-0 record and an ERA of 1.26 in 28.2 innings with 48 strikeouts. Suzuki nailed down 3 saves in 14 save opportunities. Gang Niu of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles finished second in voting, while Manchu Woo of the Chiba Lotte Marines finished third. |
