"We're a proud bunch and this one feels good," reliever Kunimichi Suzuki shouted to reporters over the loud music that rang through the clubhouse after the team's division win became official. "This is a franchise that deserves a championship and we're going to do everything we can to make that happen." The Buffaloes have secured the franchise's 4th title with a 34-26 record and will be looking for the 4th NIPPON BASEBALL LEAGUE championship in franchise history. |
