PL Honors Kubota, Best Hitter in April Monday, May 1st, 2028 For a rookie just breaking in, Yoshii Kubota certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PL Batter of the Month award for April. The 19-year-old third baseman for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks hit .384 with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Kubota has compiled a .329 batting average and a .422 on-base percentage, while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 44 runs. |
