Onishi Selected CL Player of the Week Monday, April 10th, 2028 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Central League. The award went to Mitsuharu Onishi, first baseman of the Hanshin Tigers. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .500 average to win the honor. Onishi went 9-for-18 for the week, totaled 2 home runs and 8 RBIs and scored 5 times. This year Onishi is hitting .309, produced 24 RBIs and 6 home runs, scored 23 times and gotten on base at a .407 rate. |
