Giants Byung-soo Yi Down and Out for Year Friday, March 31st, 2028 A blow for Byung-soo Yi today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6 months with a broken kneecap. Yi suffered the injury making a defensive play. Although officials from the Yomiuri Giants are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Yi's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
