Big Bat Pays Off, Memoto Player of the Week Monday, March 27th, 2028 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Central League, but last week Shunsen Memoto of the Chunichi Dragons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Memoto rocked opposing pitching for a .571 average (16-for-28), 8 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Memoto is batting at a .427 clip with 14 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
