Hayashi Wins PL Player of the Week Honors Monday, March 27th, 2028 So far in his young career, Kozue Hayashi has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pacific League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks first baseman hit at a torrid .367 clip as he collected 11 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In the current season, Hayashi has put up a .270 batting average with 24 hits, 8 home runs, 17 runs batted in and scored 15 runs. |
