No Late-Season Magic Coming: Chunichi Out of Playoffs Wednesday, May 12th, 2027 It's an "empty" feeling for members of the Chunichi Dragons, according to the club's manager. That's because the team today was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Chunichi last appeared in the postseason in 2019. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 15-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Dragons have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
