Super Week for Chunichi's Sasaki! Monday, May 10th, 2027 It was a fantastic week for Chunichi first baseman Sadakuno Sasaki and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Central League Player of the Week Award. Last week Sasaki hammered the ball at a torrid .419 pace, going 13-for-31 with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. During the current season Sasaki is batting at a .343 clip with 12 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 40 games and scored 36 times. |
