Sato Brings Home PL Batter of Month Honor Saturday, May 1st, 2027 At only 19 years of age, Shunso Sato could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the ORIX Buffaloes, as April was one to remember for the third baseman and he has captured the Pacific League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .296 with 14 home runs, 40 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This season Sato is batting .265 with 18 home runs. His totals include 57 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
