Buffaloes Sato Snags PL Player of the Week Monday, April 12th, 2027 Not every ball that came off Shunso Sato's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the ORIX Buffaloes. For his exploits, Sato was named this week's Pacific League Player of the Week award. The ORIX third baseman put up 8 hits in 19 at-bats and 4 home runs while hitting .421 with 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Sato has hit at a .252 clip with 32 RBIs, 9 home runs and 29 runs scored. |
