Kikuchi Punishes PL Pitchers This Week Monday, March 22nd, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific League, but last week Toshimichi Kikuchi of the Saitama Seibu Lions reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Kikuchi rocked opposing pitching for a .450 average (9-for-20), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. On the year Kikuchi is hitting .426 with 23 hits, 4 home runs, 17 RBIs, .516 OBP and has scored 15 runs. |
