Cy Young Award Goes to Pick Thursday, June 8th, 2028 19-year-old Tom Pick of the London Monarchs put together a good year in 2028 for such a young player. Pick was named today as the winner of the Lester B. Person League Cy Young Award. Pick crafted an impressive 4-1 record and a 2.73 ERA. In 52.2 innings he allowed 39 hits, struck out 81, and walked 22. Cyprien Bataille of the Trois-Rivieres Saints finished second in voting, while Pete Herrington of the Saskatoon Legends finished third. |
