Girard Takes LBL's Best Bat Trophy Monday, May 1st, 2028 Jean-Yves Girard is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Victoria second baseman joined that select company when the Lester B. Person League announced the results of April's voting. Girard totaled 37 hits, 12 walks, 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .420 batting average and .500 on-base percentage. Presently Girard is hitting .339 with 10 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 42 times. |
