The season is finished for Wayne Woolfrey of the Niagara Stars. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Stars starting pitcher suffered a bone spur in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Saskatoon Legends. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal.
