Mullett Wins LBL Player of the Week Prize Monday, March 27th, 2028 19-year-old Hoyt Mullett made a few Trois-Rivieres headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Lester B. Person League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 16 hits in 32 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Mullett collected 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 16 runs. Thus far this season Mullett is hitting .435 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 85 at-bats and has played in 21 games. |
