Alward and Hoffmann Suspended, Out 9 Games Wednesday, March 22nd, 2028 It was quite a row yesterday at Corvettes Ballpark. The Outlaws Scotty Alward and the Saints Bill Hoffmann backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Alward and Hoffmann were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 9-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. For the season Alward is currently batting .172 with no home runs and 11 RBIs. In 17 games he has reached base at a .233 rate and scored 5 runs to date. |
