Johnston Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, March 21st, 2028 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Mark Johnston walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Calgary Outlaws in a career day at Corvettes Ballpark today, but it was the Montreal Royales who won the ballgame, 10-7. "My swing was really, really there today," Johnston said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-6 and losing is better than 0-for-6 and losing, right?" Mark Johnston doubled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, singled in the 12th and grounded out in the 13th.
