Mullett Hits for the Cycle Monday, March 20th, 2028 It was a special day for Hoyt Mullett at Blue Wings Ballpark today. Not only did Mullett's Trois-Rivieres Saints beat the Saskatoon Legends 18-11, but the shortstop hit for the cycle along the way. The 19-year-old Mullett racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 5 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Legends manager Kawanari Ishii. "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Mullett said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Hoyt Mullett hit a solo-shot off Pete Herrington in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and walked in a run in the 8th.
