John Herbert Drills 3 HR in One Game
Friday, March 10th, 2028
Regardless of where you stand on the "hardest thing to do in sports" argument, one thing everyone can agree on, is that hitting three home runs in one game is quite an amazing feat. That's exactly what John Herbert did today at Hatchets Ballpark. He went deep three times and carried his team to victory in the Kelowna Heat 17-9 win over London.

"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Herbert said. "Good things happen, when that happens."

He blistered the Monarchs for 3 hits, batted in 8 runs and scored 5 times.

The London skipper said, "It ain't like we weren't trying. He was hot and really torched my boys today."

John Herbert walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Kamel Picard in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Alton Giddens in the 9th.

This year Herbert is hitting .290 with 4 home runs.
