Lester B. Person League Top Pitcher Selected Saturday, June 12th, 2027 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Dave Munier performed like a veteran on the hill for the Niagara Stars and walked away with the Lester B. Person League Cy Young Award in the process. The 19-year-old Stars star fashioned a 10-3 won-loss record in 2027 with a 1.87 ERA. In 72.1 innings of work and 13 starts, Munier struck out 84 while giving up 47 hits and 20 walks. He held opposing batters to a .181 average. Bill Neville of the London Monarchs finished second in voting, while Ju-ao Ru of the Victoria Capitals finished third. |
