Playoff Bound: Niagara Secures Wild Card Friday, May 7th, 2027 Celebrating a playoff clinch never gets old, according to Jen-kan Yi of the Niagara Stars. "I could do this each and every year," the right fielder said as he celebrated his team officially having clinched a playoff spot. "It's why we play the game - to get to the playoffs and have a chance to become Lester B. Person Cup champions." The Lester B. Person League East Division club has a record of 32-18 and will be seeking the franchise's 2nd CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. |
