Great Day for Weatherdon -- 5 Hits Friday, April 23rd, 2027 No matter what Trois-Rivieres pitchers threw him today Eric Weatherdon hit it. The 19-year-old Saskatoon second baseman racked up 5 hits in 7 at-bats today against them at Blue Wings Ballpark and spearheaded the Legends to a 17-8 victory. Eric Weatherdon singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This season Weatherdon is hitting .222 with 35 hits, 3 home runs, 19 RBIs, scored 19 runs and played in 40 games. |
