Manager Morrisey Gets Walking Papers in Arizona State Saturday, May 27th, 2028 It was supposed to be just another day at the ballpark, but it didn't turn out that way for Cam Morrisey. In a meeting with the Arizona State owner and general manager Morrisey found out he was being let go. After today's meeting the front office staff announced Morrisey's firing. They declined to comment on who his successor might be, saying only that it would done quickly. "Cam Morrisey is a good baseball man and classy individual, but we don't think he's the best person to lead this ballclub at this time," said the Sun Devils general manager. "We wish him all the best in the future." Morrisey, whose in-game decisions have drawn a lot of criticism from local media of late, left the ballpark immediately after the meeting and could not be reached for comment. |
