Lindsey Tags Ducks for 5 Hits Monday, May 15th, 2028 The Oregon Ducks might think twice next time about pitching to Steve Lindsey. At Ballpark of Celebration College today, the Texas Longhorns first baseman burned Oregon pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 15-6 Texas triumph. "When he's on his game," Texas skipper Susumu Kawashima told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Steve Lindsey hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Larry Barstow in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
