Wolverines Mitchell Smacks 5 Hits Friday, May 5th, 2028 Jeff Mitchell socked it to the Wake Forest Demon Deacans today at Cypress Quarters College Grounds. The 19-year-old Michigan Wolverines first baseman rapped 5 hits in 6 at-bats to lead his club to a 11-7 win over Demon Deacans. "Has anyone ever had back-to-back 5-hit games?" he mused at his postgame press conference. "Let's see if we can make that happen." Jeff Mitchell flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Bryce Wilkinson in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jeremy Cole in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Lanny Albert in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
