Ford Hitless, Stopped by Sooners Thursday, May 4th, 2028 The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 6-5 today at Titans Ballpark, but Wayne Ford's 22-game hitting string was snapped and went to the wayside. Ford went hitless in 3 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," the catcher said in a BNN interview after the game.
