Hit Streak Now at 25 for Howell Saturday, April 29th, 2028 Mel Howell continues to hit at a blistering pace. For 25 straight games he has had at least one hit. Howell did it again today with 1 hit in the UCLA triumph over Arizona. The Bruins defeated the Wildcats 14-4 at Red Wings Ballpark. Mel Howell struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This season Howell is batting .347 with 9 home runs. He has scored 33 runs and driven in 36. |
