Hitting Streak Still Alive for Owen Wednesday, April 26th, 2028 Fans around the league are beginning to get interested in the Owls 19-year-old catcher Kent Owen. What is drawing all the attention is his 20-game hitting streak. Owen extended it again in today's game with the Titans with 1 hit. But it wasn't enough. Cal State Fullerton won the game 9-2. Kent Owen grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. Owen is hitting .398 this season with 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
