Cowboys Gates Lost for Year Monday, April 24th, 2028 Cliff Gates will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Oklahoma State reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Gates was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cowboys-Wolverines clash at Canaries Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has radial nerve compression and would be out a minimum of 5-6 months. On the year, Gates has recorded no saves with a 2-1 record over 11 innings. He has mowed down 6 batters on strikes and walked 11 with an ERA of 9.00. |
