Ruckus Reaps 6-Game Suspensions Sunday, April 16th, 2028 A bench-clearing brawl marred the Auburn-Indiana State game at Zodiac Ballpark yesterday and resulted in two players being suspended today by the league office. The Tigers Norm Clark and the Sycamores Gil Thomas were ejected from the game for fighting. Both players will have to sit out 6 games. So far this year Clark has hit .373 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Thomas has earned no saves and a 1-0 mark this season with a 7.04 earned run average in 9 relief appearances. He has worked 15.1 innings, yielded 18 hits, struck out 16 batters and walked 11. |
