Butler Bombs 3 HR Against Florida

Today was a special one for Willie Butler of the Tennessee Volunteers as he slammed three home runs in the 7-3 win over the Florida Gators.
"Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em."
The Tennessee center fielder had quite a game at Ballpark of Bismarck College as he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 4, and scored 3 runs.
Willie Butler hit a solo-shot off Brian Tilley in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Brian Tilley in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Allen Méndez in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
In 15 games this season Butler has batted at a .283 pace with 17 hits and 3 home runs.
