Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, April 3rd, 2028 Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Baylor's Tim McDonald and Tulane's Jim Unknown. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 7 games for their aggressive actions. "I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Green Wave said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead." This year McDonald is batting .375 with 9 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 3 times and has batted in 8 runs. |
