SBL's Top Player for 2027 Named Thursday, June 10th, 2027 The future looks extremely bright for Arturo Trinidad. At the age of 21, many players are still trying to find their way in USA NCAA DIVISION I. Trinidad has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Skip Bertman League Silver Slugger Award. "I didn't expect to hit .333 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said. The Arkansas Razorbacks star also put up a .438 on-base percentage this year, with 62 hits, 15 doubles, no triples, 20 home runs, 66 RBIs and 41 runs scored. Jeff Butler of the Tennessee Volunteers finished second in voting, while Mike Bunch of the Georgia Bulldogs finished third. |
