Sanderson Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Tuesday, May 11th, 2027 Roy Sanderson of the Arkansas Razorbacks just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting center fielder went 1-for-5 in his team's 7-2 victory over the Florida Gators at Ramparts Ballpark and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. "He is definitely on a roll right now" said a Gators pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway." When asked about his performance, Sanderson said, "I don't care if I go hitless as long as we get the win." Roy Sanderson singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 8th. Presently Sanderson is batting .353 with 60 hits and 10 home runs. He has knocked in 36 runs and scored 43 times. |
