Kansas's Bright Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, May 11th, 2027 The Kansas Jayhawks learned that Ryan Bright is likely to be out for 6 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Georgia Bulldogs. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a sore shoulder. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Kansas manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Ryan is back in action." Thus far this season Bright has posted a 0-2 record, started 8 games, struck out 34 batters in 29.1 innings and compiled a 8.90 ERA. |
