Tigers Campbell Suffers Injury Monday, May 3rd, 2027 It took the Clemson team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Shawn Campbell won't simply play through shoulder inflammation after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Salukis-Tigers game. At first, it looked like Campbell might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6 months. This season Campbell has nailed down 1 save with 31 strikeouts in 27.2 innings. He is credited with 3 wins and 2 losses and has a 2.60 earned run average. |
