Harris Hittin' on All Cylinders Thursday, April 29th, 2027 At Ballpark of Wrightsville College today Paul Harris led Ole Miss to a 10-3 victory over the Owls by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's most difficult feats. The Rebels left fielder told reporters after the game, "Most people think the triple is the hardest one to get, but today, it was the homer... because the ball wasn't carrying. When I took it deep, I expected the ball to die on the warning track. Seeing the umpire give me the signal to circle the bases was sweet." In addition to going 4-for-5, Harris chalked up 5 runs batted in and scored 4 runs in an exceptional performance. Paul Harris singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ole Engstrøm in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season in 27 games Harris is batting .351 with 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
