Wednesday, April 21st, 2027
During the star-studded affair, the 2027 Skip Bertman League All-Stars defeated the Rod Dedeaux League All-Stars by a score of 8-2.
The fans in attendance at Field of the Plunder certainly enjoyed the show, seeing the best that the game had to offer.
Chief among the stars was Doug Parks, who led the Skip Bertman League to victory.
"I will admit I was nervous out there. To share a field with such incredible players is always a humbling experience. But after the first couple pitches, you just have to ignore the talent out there and focus on your game," Parks commented as he accepted his award after the game.
In 113 games, Parks is a lifetime .295 hitter. He has knocked in 67 runs, scored 68 times, hit 21 home runs, walked 65 times and has an on-base percentage of .402.
