Great Day for Marnoch -- 5 Hits Friday, April 9th, 2027 Todd Marnoch really sizzled at the plate in today's 21-10 win over Bulldogs. The USC right fielder blistered Mississippi State for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Marnoch was too tough to get out today," the Bulldogs skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Todd Marnoch hit an RBI single in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Tim Sargent in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Dave Patton in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and walked in the 8th. So far this year Marnoch is batting .333 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
